Our Offer:
Our house is located in the
heart of Valais, on the left bank of the Rhone, in the Val d’Hérens, and is 1100
metres (3609 feet) above sea level above the village of Vex, in the hamlet of
"Les Prasses". From it, overhanging the Rhone valley, you can enjoy a
magnificent view of the Alps.
Sion, the capital of the Canton of Valais, is only 10 kilometres away (6 miles).
In winter, it is only 15-20 minutes to
Thyon - Les Collons, which is part of "Les 4 Vallées" ski area, with 400
kilometres of piste and 100 ski-lifts - in which a good skier can ski as far as
Verbier.
Veysonnaz, with the "Piste de l’Ours" made famous by the World Championships,
Nendaz, Crans-Montana and Evolčne (with its beautiful cross-country skiing
piste) can also be reached quickly and easily.
In the summer, marvellous walking tours
can be made, and the location is ideal for exploring Valais.
In the village itself, you will find all
that you need: grocery shops, a chemist shop, bakery, butcher, post,
bank, restaurants
and a kiosk.
The house has ceramic tiling throughout,
and we have avoided the use of carpets and curtains for reasons of hygiene
(allergies and so on). For the same reason, we will not accept pets, and will
give preference to non-smokers.
